What site hoardings involves

Hoarding runs, heights and ground types
A standard 2.4m plywood hoarding carries substantial wind load, and adding printed signage or mesh to it increases that again. Screw length, diameter and spacing are set from those figures rather than a default centre.
Runs that cross made ground, old foundations, verges and hard surfaces need more than one screw type, so we assess along the line and change the specification where the ground changes.
Returns, gate bays and vehicle entrances see concentrated loads and are specified separately from the plain run.
Programme, security and handover
Screws take load the moment they are driven, so panels follow immediately behind the installation crew and most runs are a single-visit job: measured in hours rather than days.
That pulls the whole site setup forward: a perimeter closed on day one is theft, trespass and insurance exposure closed on day one.
At handover the screws unwind, leaving no concrete in the ground and nothing to dispose of, which matters on plots being returned to a landowner or handed to a following contractor.
Temporary compounds and long-term sites
On short programmes and temporary compounds the removability decides the economics: the screws come out at handover, the ground is left unsealed, and the same screws go back in on the next site instead of being written off.
On long-duration sites the galvanised steel gives the corrosion protection the run needs for the full build, with individual positions replaceable if a vehicle strike damages a post.
Because installation creates no spoil and needs no plant, hoarding can be installed on footways, car parks and surfaced yards without breaking out and reinstating the surface afterwards.
