What information we collect
When you complete our quote form we collect your name, telephone number, email address, postcode, the service you are enquiring about and any details you choose to give us about the property. If you call or email us, we hold the contact details and information you provide in that conversation.
Why we use it, and our lawful basis
We use your information to respond to your enquiry, arrange a visit to the property, prepare a written quotation, carry out work you instruct, and keep records of jobs and installations. Our lawful basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, performing that contract, and our legitimate interest in running and administering the business.
We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for unrelated marketing without your consent.
Who we share it with
We share personal information only where it is needed to deliver the service or where the law requires it, for example with our customer relationship and enquiry handling system, email provider, website host, accountant or insurer. Those providers act on our instructions and are not permitted to use your data for their own purposes.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to work are kept only as long as they are useful for following up. Records relating to completed work are kept for as long as the installation record is retained and for any period required for tax, insurance or legal purposes.
